Give a check "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop"
Click Finish

Input your Username and Password that you have created previously in your VPN server and click Connect.

NOTE :

Microsoft RAS makes the gateway block all connection except to the vpn server, unless if we are applying static route to it. somehow this is not working on this environment. the only solution is to use your own internet connection from your local gateway.

please go to your VPN connection properties, go to networking tab. select properties on the internet protocol(ipv4), go to advanced tab look for this option.

"use default gateway on remote network"

uncheck the option box.

this will make your internet connection routed through your local gateway.
